Sandford Surveying is my father's land surveying and civil engineering business that he's been running since he founded it in 1990. He designed the logo himself, and I designed his first website in the early 2000s, coding it by hand in simple HTML and CSS. As the need for a new website and other marketing materials—business cards, brochures, etc.—approached, we decided the brand could use a facelift. The new version builds on the brand equity of the classic original logo and features updated typography, various color and orientation versions, and a social media avatar.
