For its biggest internal annual conference, Credit Summit 2018, Capital One wanted to emphasize camaraderie and community in a logo that could be used within the well-established Capital One brand and feature on presentations, swag, and signage.
The above photo is a digital mockup from a stock photo, not the actual event venue or a real use case for the logo.
The logo was reportedly well received at the conference, even spawning its own fan art in a pipe-cleaner-sculpture competition.
