When I was an in-house designer for Hillsdale College in Michigan, the college launched the Churchill Project "to propagate a right understanding of Churchill’s record." Hillsdale is the publisher of the official biography of Winston Churchill, written by Randolph Churchill and Sir Martin Gilbert from the 1960s to the late 1980s. The project also covers an endowed chair, scholarships, the collection and publication of a comprehensive collection of Churchill's writings, and other resources for studying the life and work of the great British statesman.
I was tasked with designing the booklet explaining the project. The budget allowed for foil stamping, embossing, and die cuts, and I took full advantage of those options.
